I am a third-year PhD student at Duke in Art, Art History and Visual Studies, on the Media Arts and Science track. I engage in both a traditional historical research practice--my current work looks at media art and environment in the 1960s and 70s--and digital humanities approaches. My interests, broadly, are in critical and media theory, modern and contemporary art, and science and technology studies. I am currently completing a database project, mapping relationships between texts and artifacts in the media theory canon.
